Inspiration for the clothes comes from many different aspects of life.
I am very influenced by all things vintage! For the Spring/Summer 2011
collection a 1920's theme can be seen in some shapes and colour

combinations. A hand embellished silk pillow case was the inspiration

behind a t-shirt idea. One of the dresses was heavily influenced by an

original 1920's flapper dress. Vintage postcards and trims combined

with elements taken from Indian textiles and paintings gave ideas for

embroideries and prints. The bows and furbelows story was form a

beautiful 1920's christening gown i found at an Antique sale. 

For Autumn Winter 11 there is a more ethnic theme coming through -

an amazing book on Vietnamese costume was a huge influence and

working closely with the Natural Plant dye factory was also very inspiring.
